State Ethics Commission Offers Lobbying Education

The State Ethics Commission has scheduled a Lobbying Education Presentation for Tuesday, May 6, 2014, from 9:30 until noon at:
 
Auditorium
Transportation Building
1 South Wilmington Street
Raleigh, NC 27601
 
This Education Presentation will provide a general overview of the gift ban and the registration and reporting requirements of the Lobbying Law. It is designed for those who are or may become registered lobbyists, lobbyist principals, and liaison personnel.  This presentation does NOT satisfy the mandatory ethics education requirement applicable to individuals who are subject to the State Government Ethics Act.
 
Registration -
 
In order to attend, you must register for the presentation no later than Friday, May 2, 2014. In order to register, please send an email to Ethics.Commission@doa.nc.gov that includes your name and telephone number or call Christy Tillery at 919-715-2071.
 
In addition, if you have particular questions that you would like Commission staff to address at the presentation, please e-mail those questions to Ethics.Commission@doa.nc.gov. We would appreciate receiving those questions by Friday, May 2, 2014, if possible.
