| Job Description | The Carolinas Credit Union League is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Governmental Affairs. The individual will lead lobbying efforts for North Carolina credit unions at the state and federal levels and support the League’s political affairs efforts in North Carolina. At the state level, the individual will serve as the primary contact with members of the North Carolina General Assembly for the League and will manage relationships with retained lobbyists. At the federal level, the incumbent will work closely with the national trade association to advocate the League’s position on legislative issues. We require a minimum of five years of relevant work experience, and a BA/BS degree in a related field. Our preferred candidate will have direct experience in government relations, state or federal legislative affairs, and/or direct experience in credit unions or the financial services industry.
