Interested in Becoming More Involved with NCPLA?
NCPLA is seeking members interested in serving on the Board of Directors and helping shape the future of the Association. Board service provides an opportunity to contribute to NCPLA’s programs, initiatives, and member experience while connecting with fellow professionals.
Board members must:

Be registered to lobby with the North Carolina Secretary of State.

Be current NCPLA members in good standing.
Board members are expected to:

Serve a staggered two-year term.

Attend quarterly Board of Directors meetings.

Participate in Board discussions and support NCPLA initiatives.
We welcome interest from members representing diverse practice areas, organizations, geographic regions, and career stages. Whether you are a newer member or a longtime NCPLA member, we encourage you to consider this opportunity to become more involved.
If you are interested in being considered for the NCPLA Board of Directors, please email Chantel Isenhart by Friday, September 4 with a brief statement of interest.
The Nominating Committee will review all expressions of interest as it prepares the proposed slate of nominees for the upcoming Board election.
